TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker - What It IsTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background. They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook. The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.CostsThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.InfrastructureThe execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.RegulationNow, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities. The BonusTabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit. The complete breakdown, covering all the click here details before you open an account, is at tradetheday.com.
